About This Exam
Female pelvic ultrasound examining the uterus, adnexal structures, endometrium, and bladder. Male pelvic ultrasound examining the bladder and prostate with volume measurements.

- Evaluate uterus, cervix, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and bladder
- Diagnose pelvic pain
- Investigate abnormal vaginal bleeding

Preparation Instructions
- 1Patients must have a full bladder
- 2Drink 32 oz of water and finish one hour before the appointment
- 3Do not empty your bladder once drinking has started
