About This Exam
Duplex scan of the abdominal aorta, inferior vena cava, iliac vasculature, complete study. This is a diagnostic study due to symptoms or known AAA. CPT code 93979 if only limited duplex is performed.
Indications
Risk of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm
One-time screening endorsed for men ages 65-75 who have smoked 100+ cigarettes in their lifetime
